Welcome to our site.
Here are a few pointers and tips to make your visit more enjoyable. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you find some areas need some fine tuning or clearer explanations.

Main Catalog page:
- Site home page: can be accessed by clicking on “Home” on the left hand side of the header.
- Categories: will show you the various product categories and sub-categories to chose from, together with number of products in the database for each. Click on any one to see a list of relevant products.
- Manufacturers: you can also access the products sorted by manufacturer as listed in the drop-down box of this section.
- Quick find: to make a quick search for a desired product, enter a keyword in the box. The keyword used would be a word included in the product name in the site so we suggest visitors navigate the site a bit to get familiar with product names generally used. For Advance search, the visitor can widen or narrow the search criteria. The date fields refer to dates products were added to the site. Fields can be completed or left blank as necessary for the search.
- Information: refer to the links in this box for our conditions of sale, of use, privacy information, general help, and to contact us.
- Languages: toggle between the English (British flag) and French (French flag) to change the site language as required.
- Currencies: by default, the site currency is in Canadian dollars ($Cad).
- What’s new: will show an example of a product recently added to the database.
- Specials: will show an example of a product at a Special (reduced) price.

Categories/Sub-categories pages:
- Once you have clicked on a category in the left hand box, you will access a category page, from where you can click on either the sub-category image or the sub-category name to see a list of products.
- If there are no sub-categories for a particular category, the product list page will appear directly after clicking the category.
- To navigate the product listing pages, you can move from page to page by the links at the top or bottom of the table. You can sort by model number, by product name, or by price, by clicking on the appropriate heading text. By default, the list will sort by product name. Click once to sort by ascending order (+) and again to sort by descending order (-).
- Products on special at reduce prices will show up with a regular price crossed out and a reduced red price shown beside.
- To access the individual product description page, click on the product image or the product name.

Individual product description pages:
- Will show you product information for the specific product chosen. Text in bold is noteworthy. Text in colour refers to stock situations and special ordering status.
- Click on the image to get a larger picture size.
- Available options for each product will be shown by a drop-down box. Click on the option desired to confirm when you wish to purchase.
- Note that various options may have different price points. Options which involve a price adjustment will show the increment pricing applicable.
- Products which have additional information on an external page will offer a direct link to a external page which will open as a separate window. Close the window in order to return to the product page.

Navigating the site:
- Quick links backwards in the catalog are shown as titles in the header section (ex. Home >> Catalog >> Chefs >> POM handles >> 8730p-12). To access previous pages, click on the back button of your browser or on the quick link title.
- Use the links in the side boxes to navigate to other sections or do searches within the database.
- There are a number of pop-up boxes available to guide you in your shopping process.
